SubSift stores all your subscriptions locally on your device or in your personal Google Drive account. We do not store your data on external database servers.
1. Data Storage & Ownership
Your subscription names, prices, due dates, and billing notes are saved in your local browser cache (`localStorage` or IndexedDB). You own your data 100%.
2. Google Drive Integration
Cloud Sync uses Google's isolated drive.appdata scope. SubSift can only read and write its own backup.json file inside your private Drive. We have zero access to your personal files or Google Drive documents.
3. Penny AI Companion
Simple actions (e.g. "Add Netflix $22.99") are parsed locally. Conversational questions, savings advice, and deal searches are transmitted via secure HTTPS to Google's Gemini AI service. We never attach personal details or sell prompt data to advertisers.
4. Zero Data Sales
We do not sell, rent, monetize, or track your personal financial details with third-party advertising networks.
